教学设计

教学目标:1、学生能够基本掌握元音字母O的闭音节发音。

          2、学生能够用自然拼读的方法来拼读没有学习过的单词。

教学重点:1、字母O的闭音节发音。

          2、单词dog/box/orange/body

教学步骤:

I. Warm-up:

1. Greeting.

2. Song: a-z

II. Presentation

1. Have students focus on the short sound of O.

2. Help students look at the pictures and try to say the new words.

3. Show the words, help students to sound them out and focus on the short sound of the letter O.

4. Finish the exercise on page 40: read, listen and number.

5. Finish the exercise on page 40: listen and write.

6. Help students sound more short sound of letter O.

III. Extension: read a picture book. Biscuit and the frog.

1. Help students read the short o sound words in the book first.

2. Help students read the book together.
