教学过程
一、热身(Warm-up)
1.师生问候。
2.Say the chant:
Cycling, cycling,

Go swimming in the pool.
Football, football,

活动方式:要求学生边说chant,边做动作。
二、复习(Revision)
1.全班抽读单词或词组:dining hall,grass,gym,ago,cycling,go cycling,ice-skate,badminton。
2.活动:小记者在行动
活动方式:学生四人一组,三人扮演记者以学校或家庭的今昔变化轮番向一人提问。如:
QI: How many people are there in your family?[中国教&^~育#出*版网]
S: There are four. They are my father, my mother, my sister and me.
Q2: How many people were there ten years ago?
S: There were four, too. They were my parents and grandparents.
Q3: Where did they live?
S: They lived in an old house. There were two bedrooms and a kitchen in it.
Q4: Where do you live now?
S: We live in a new house. It has two floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms,a kitchen,a dining room and a living room.

1.教学单词race,cheetah和句子There were many animals in that race.
教师出示动物赛跑的图片并介绍:This is a race. There were many animals in that race. The cheetah is the fastest of all.板书:race,cheetah和句子There were many animals in that race.先让学生说说这两个单词的意思并引导学生拼读,然后让学生说说句子的意思。
2.教学单词thought,felt,woke,trip和句子But suddenly he tripped and fell.[来源:zz@s&te~p#.c%om]
(1)教师出示单词:think,feel,wake,让学生说说这些动词的意思。然后告诉学生这些动词的过去式都是不规则变化的,边说边将板书补充成:think-thought,feel-felt,wake-woke,并带读这六个单词。
(2)教师板书:trip,让学生说说单词的意思。告诉学生:trip作为名词时意为“旅行”,作为动词时意为“绊倒”,它的过去式是规则变化的。让学生说说该单词的过击式,教师根据学生回答将板书补充为:trip-tripped。教师出示课文的插图说:He was in the race. But suddenly he tripped and fell.教师板书:But suddenly he tripped and fell.让学生说出该句子的意思后,师带读。
3.教学单词nothing,dream
教师提问学生:Did you have a dream last night?并板书:dream。先让学生说说单词的意思,再回答问题。教师说:I had a dream last night. In that dream there was nothing I could do,1 was worried.板书:nothing,先让学生说说单词的意思,再带读单词。[来源^@:zzstep.&com%#]
4.教学B.Read and write
(1)学生独立阅读课文内容,画出自己不理解的句子。
(2)请学生说出不理解的句子,教师适当指导。
(3)教师播放教学录像,学生边看录像边理解课文内容。
(4)全班在理解的基础上朗读以下句子:
①Wu Yifan drank it and suddenly he felt good,
②There was a second race.
(5)教师再次播放录像,全班跟读。
5.完成B.Read and write部分的练习
(l)Number the pictures.
让学生独立观察这三幅图,按文章的顺序为图片标号。全班找出描述这三幅图的句子,然后教师请一些学生来说说这些句子,最后全班一起看图说句子。[来源&:zzs#t~ep.c*@om]
(2) Listen and fill in the blanks.
让学生先独立阅读这段对话,然后教师播放录音,学生根据录音内容填空,最后教师再播放录音,全班校对答案。
四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)
活动:Did you have an interesting dream? Tell your dream to your partner. Then write several sentences about it.[中国教#&~@育%出版网]
活动方式:学生先将一个有趣的梦告诉同伴,然后按照课本的提示将这个梦谊录在课本上,最后请一些学生汇报交流。
五、家庭作业(Homework)

2.完成活动手册配套练习。
3.用英文把自己一个有趣的梦说给家长听。
