3.会唱歌曲《Changes in me》。
教学重难点
1.重点:学习单词或词组::dining hall,grass,gym,ago;学习句子:There was no gym in my school ten years ago. Now there’s a new one in our school.
2.难点:能正确使用一般过去时和一般现在时。

教学过程
一、热身(Warm-up)
Let’s do:
Go to the library.[来源:中国教&育%#出版^网@]
Read a book.
Go to the teachers’ office.
Say hello.
Go to the playground.
Play football.
Go to the garden.
Water the flowers.
要求学生边说,边做动作。通过此活动,既可以活跃课堂气氛,又能起到复习的作用。
二、复习(Revision)
1.活动:我与“喜羊羊”捉迷藏
活动方式:教师出示事先制作好的课件,告诉学生:“喜羊羊”藏身于我们学校中,想与同学们玩捉迷藏,现在就请同学们来猜猜“喜羊羊”藏身于何处。全班学生一起重复问句:Where is Xi Yangyang?教师请学生来问:Is he in the teachers’ office? Is he in the garden? Is he in the library?…学生每猜一处,教师就在课件上点击该处,如果点不出“喜羊羊”,全班学生就说:No,he isn’t.如果点出,则说:Yes,he’s in the library.
2.抽读已学过的校园场所类的单词并拼读:teachers’ office,library,playground, computer room, art room, music room”‘
三、新课呈现(Presentation)
1.教学单词和词组dining hall,grass,gym,ago
(1)教学单词grass
教师出示草坪的图片问:What’s this?同时自答:It’s grass.并板书:grass。教师提问:What do you often do on the grass?引导学生回答:We can play football on the grass.教师用升、降调带读单词grass,引导学生拼读记忆单词grass。
(2)教学单词gym
教师拿着体育馆的图片,不让学生看见。介绍说:You often play basketball in it.Sometimes you have a P.E class in it.Guess. What is it?掌生猜过后,教师把图片展示给学生看:Look. It-s a gym.随后教师板书:gym,并带读gym,引导学生拼读记忆gym。
(3)教学词组dining hall
教师指着教室的墙面问:What-s this?学生回答:It-s a wall.教师接着问:Can you spell it?学生拼读单词wall,教师板书wall。然后教师将wall改成hall,让学生试读单词。告诉学生:hall是大厅、礼堂的意思。全班拼读记忆单词hall。接着教师在hall的前面加上dining,让学生猜猜dining hall的意思。师追问:What do you often do in the dining hall?学生回答:We often have lunch in the dining hall.教师用升降调带读词组dining hall,并让学生拼读记忆该词组。
(4)教学单词ago和词组…years ago,…months ago
教师介绍:I played basketball in the gym three days ago.1 went to Hangzhou two months ago.l visited the Great Wall three years ago.救师板书:…days ago,…years ago,…months ago,让学生说说ago的意思。在理解的基础上,让全班拼读记忆单词ago。最后教师让学生用ago来造句。
(5)Say the chant:
Garden,garden.
See the flowers, see the flowers.
Playground, playground.
Let-s run,let’s run.
Dining hall, dining hall.
Have lunch,have lunch.
Grass,grass.
Play football, play football.

2.教学句子There was no gym in my school ten years ago. Now there-s a new one in our school.[www.*zz@&step.~co^m]
教师出示两张新旧学校的图片介绍并板书:There was no gym in my school ten years ago. Now there’s a new one in our school.然后让学生模仿这两个句子比较学校的今昔。如:
There were no computers in our school ten years ago. Now there are many computers in our school.
There were sixteen classes in our school ten years ago. Now there are thirty classes in our school.
3.教学A.Let -s learn
(1)教师播放A. Let -s learn部分的课文录音,学生边听边跟读。[来%源&#*:中教^网]
(2)学生两人一组表演对话。
(3)请几组学生到台前表演。
四、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension)
1.教学Find the mistakes
活动方式:先让学生独立阅读这段话,然后圈出图画中与描述不符之处,最后全班讲评订正。
2.教学歌曲Changes in me[中*@国&教^育出版#网]
(1)教师播放歌曲,学生静听。[来源#*:中国%教育出~&版网]
(2)再次播放歌曲录音,让学生小声跟唱,体会歌曲的节奏。
(3)继续播放歌曲录音,让学生大声跟唱。
(4)学生配上动作表演唱。
3.活动:“希望小学”设计大赛
活动方式:教师播放一段简陋的农村小学的录像,告诉学生:“希望工程”将为他们修建一个崭新的学校。要求全班学生四人为一小组,共同设计这所农村小学,并附上设计说明。如:
Then they didn’t have a dining hall. They had their meals in their classroom.Now they have a dining hall near the kitchen. There was no computer room in their school. Now they have a big computer room on the fifth floor.[来源%:@中国~教#育^出版网]
最后教师将各组的设计稿和设计说明张贴在教室里,请全体学生共同欣赏点评。
五、家庭作业(Homework)
