2A Unit 3 Lesson 15

Weather

Step 1:  Warm-up

1.     Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Ok. I’m Miss Jin. What’s your name?

Ss: I’m ______.

T: How nice today.

Ss: It’s nice today.

T and Ss: Nice day!

T: How nice today! Let’s go and play in the park. Ok?

Ss: Ok. Let’s go.

 

Step 2:  Presentation.

T: Oh, what a beautiful park! Let’s have a look. What’s in it? (幻灯片展示). T: There is the sun, the blue sky, white clouds, many trees and some grass. T: What can you see?

S1: I can see flowers. S2: I can see the sun. S3: I can see trees S4:I can see boys.

T: So, please tell me, how is the weather in the park?

Ss: It’s nice in the park.

T:Showing the picture of nice Nice, nice, nice. It’s nice today. (repeat 4 times) Ss repeat.

Practice the dialogs:—— How is the weather today?

—— It’s nice today.

T: What is in the park? Oh, look, there is a swing in the park. (幻灯片展示句子和秋千图) It’s a swing.

T: swing, swing, swing. (repeat 3 times)

Ss: swing, swing, swing.  It’s a swing.

T: Now, how do we play it? We play on the swing. Let’s play on the swing.

Ss: Let’s play on the swing. (repeat 5 times)

T: Let’s, let’s, let’s, play on the swing. (repeat 4 times)

S1: Let’s play on the swing. (giving a prize to the S) S2and S3 do the same.

T: Now there is a slide. (幻灯片展示slide) It’s a slide. Slide, slide, slide. Play on the slide. Let’s play on the slide. (do an action)

Ss: Slide, slide, slide. Play on the slide. (repeat 6 times)

Ss: Let’s play on the slide.

Sticking word cards of nice, swing, slide on the blackboard. 

T: swing, swing, swing; slide, slide, slide.

T pointing to the picture, let Ss say Play on the swing or Play on the slide.

Chant:

T: Swing, swing, swing, Play on the swing.

  Slide, slide, slide, play on the slide.

T chants and claps her hands. Ss repeat.

 

Step 3   Let’s talk.

T: We have learned some phrases about activities. Such as: ride a bike, take a bus. Please talk about this.

T: What do you want to do? (幻灯片出示句子)I want to ride a bike.

T sings. Then says I want to sing. What do you want to do?

S1: I want to play soccer? (say and do an action) giving a prize

S2: I want to play and swim.

S3: I want to play on the slide.

S4: I want to play on the swim.

S5: I want to ride a bike.

 

Step 4    Practice.

Games 1Guess.

T: What do you want to do? (幻灯片快速闪一下,学生根据图片说)

Ss: I want to ride a bike. I want to draw. I want to play soccer. I want to wash my hands.

2Hide and find.

T picks out a word card and hides it, inviting a S to find out the card. Other Ss clapping their hands, say Let’s play on the slide. Suggest the S to find the card by using high voice and low voice. Play the game twice.

 

Step 5   Listen and check.

1.     T Plays the tape. Ss listen.

2.     Play the tape again. Ss read after it. Nice, swim, slide. It’s nice today. Let’s play on the swim. Let’s play on the slider. Check the answers.

3.     Let’s say and do action.

Group 1: S1: It’s nice today. Let’s play on the swing.

S2: It’s nice today. Let’s play on the swing.

Group 2: S1: It’s nice today. I want to play the ~.

S2: It’s nice today. I want to play the ~.

T and Ss prize the two Ss: one, two, three, you’re great.

 

Step 6   Let’s sing.

1.     Listen to the song.

Nice, nice, nice, it’s nice today.

Let’s go and play on the swing.

On the swing,  on the swing.

We are happy, very happy!  

2.     Listen and sing. sing and clap hands

3.     Change the words and sing the song.

4.     T and Ss sing together. sing and clap hands

Nice            It’s nice today.

Swing           Let’s play on the swing.

Slide            Let’s play on the slide.

 

 

 

总评:本课教师设置情景,同时创设了英语气氛,引领学生进入英语课堂。让学生在欢乐的游戏中体验到学习的快乐,也充分的调动了学生的积极性。特别是捉迷藏游戏,既操练了句子Let’s play on the slide. 又给学生留下深刻印象。教师本堂课对知识进行了扩展,与学生生活相联系,让学生说I want to ride a bike. I want to sing.等,扩展可以再深入充分些。歌曲在小学英语中起着积极的作用,但本课教师未充分发挥歌曲的作用,仅唱了两遍,可再多唱几遍。
